Founder & Story Maven

Vanessa King is a New Brunswick-based producer and screenwriter with nearly two decades of New York City film, television and entertainment experience. Her award-winning scripts, honoured by industry giants like AMPAS/Oscar® and Sony Worldwide Entertainment, showcase her expertise. She's currently pioneering film education and provincial-wide crew development initiatives in New Brunswick. Named to Vanity Fair's "Downtown 100", she's a Forbes "Industry Thought Leader", an appointee of “The Diversity List” and a board member of Media NB. She lives in Southwestern New Brunswick.

Sarah Lachowsky is an emerging screenwriter diving into the world of storytelling with ardor. She has embarked on her screenwriting journey, crafting captivating narratives that explore the human condition. A proud Canadian, Sarah hopes to draw more attention to the diversity and depth which resides within the stories of her homeland. With a keen eye for detail and a vivid imagination, she brings characters to life on the page with humour, heartbreak, and zeal. She is passionate about authenticity, and will go to great depths to research and formulate realistic characters, voices, and settings.
